Each individual event is special and important

 

We treat every wedding or event as if it was our own family member or friend's special day. This means that we particularly look out for the special interactions, meaningful moments, and little details - as well as the key moments - that we ourselves would treasure in a family photo album.

What makes for a frameable photo?

Personality and character are what we believe make for an interesting, enduring image that will stand the test of time. It is time, and practise, which develop an eye which can notice, observe, and appreciate those characterful moments - with each event, we develop those eyes further.

Ensuring that you feel at ease in front of the lens

The success of a photograph does not lie on the shoulders of its subject - instead, it is shaped by what is happening behind the camera. For example, think about when you feel most comfortable in front of the camera - might we be correct in thinking that it's when the person behind the lens is someone close to you?  

 

With this in mind, our aim during each session or event is to make you that same sense of ease, as if it was a close friend or loved one taking your photo. We aim to help you to feel comfortable, calm, and to perhaps make you giggle a little - able to place your trust in us to create art for you.

Real character is better than perfection

 

We know that photography is important, but it isn't the main event. We'll carefully judge when the time is right to gently pose and guide you, and when to take discreet candids, to ensure the main focus is on you and your guests enjoying your day!
